About the Author
Joseph F. Healey is Professor Emeritus of Sociology at Christopher Newport University in Virginia. He received his PhD in sociology and anthropology from the University of Virginia. An innovative and experienced teacher of numerous race and ethnicity courses, he has written articles on minority groups, the sociology of sport, social movements, and violence, and he is also the author of Statistics: A Tool for Social Research (10th ed., 2014).

Eileen O’Brien is an Assistant Professor at SUNY-Brockport where her teaching and research interests range from introductory sociology to courses on race, ethnicity, gender, social class and theory. She authored Whites Confront Racism (Rowan and Littlefield, 2001) and has co-authored White Men on Race (Beacon Press, 2003) with Joe Feagin, a pre-eminent scholar on race and ethnic relations. She received her Ph.D. from the U.of Florida in 1999 M.A. from Ohio State in 1996; both degrees in sociology.

His fingers crawling over her nape and into her hair, his gaze was almost angry. "I can't stop, Clio. Not now."
He slanted his mouth over hers and dragged it across.
Fiery need burst across the seam of her lips and Clio shuddered all over.
With a curse that resounded in the air, Stefan tightened his grip until her scalp prickled. Buried his nose in the crook of her neck and breathed.
"You smell like sunshine and oranges, bella. Dios, you taste like..."
Clio didn't know what else he said. All the fight left her as he found her mouth again and devoured it with little bites and nips. Stroked and tasted her lips as if she was a feast to be savored.
Kissed her as if there was nothing else he wanted to do, as if nothing but her total surrender would do.
And Clio surrendered. To him and even more, to the desire inside her, both freeing and binding.
Their bodies fused to each other as they crossed a line they shouldn't have. A kiss they could never undo because it already engulfed them.

Clio Norwood and Stefan Bianco were friends in college in New York. They haven't seen each other in years but time has not stopped his feelings for her not love just need and a powerful sexual attraction. When Clio finds out that her fianc� has been cheating on her and using her contacts to swindle money Stefan sees his opportunity to get his nemesis. He offers Clio the opportunity to leave her fianc� and start over with his help. She takes him up on his offer ,and to get at her ex she says she is getting married in a week. Stefan feels he is being used as he was in the past closes up his feelings and writes a contract that he feel will protect him. He doesn't figure on how Clio will melt his ice cold heart. A warm story of a man hurt by the past and a women who will chip away at him till he can feel again. Its a very rocky road and lots of angst but as always Tara Pammi gives you a story with a HEA and a hero and heroine to love. Part of the society wedding series with 4 best friends . Don't miss this lovely book

Stefan Bianco finds more than one surprise when he finds Clio Norwood coming back into his life. First is the surprise agreement to a false engagement and then the angry exchange that leads her to become The Sicilian's Surprise Wife with just a week to plan the wedding. Between contracts, friends and family reunions the surprises keep coming as both main characters find they are still attracted to each other after knowing one another a decade earlier at Columbia and seeing each other for a reunion after so much time and life has kept them apart. The emotional connection that develops with the deep romance makes The Sicilian's Surprise Wife an excellent romance.

The Sicilian's Surprise Wife by Tara Pammi is stunning. Stefan Bianco is the perfect alpha. He has the looks, the money and the persona but the only thing on his mind is revenge. Clio Norwood is strong, sexy and fierce. The sizzling chemistry shared between her and Stefan keeps the pages turning. With a touch of drama, a sprinkle of intrigue and a huge dollop of hands on chemistry, I'd say this is a fairly riveting read that will have you reading until the very last page.

Groundbreaking and effective

This book goes far beyond any other book I have ever read about female sexuality, and believe me I've read plenty of them over the years. It encourages you to go beyond thinking about sex per se and to use your sexual life force to begin functioning sexually on a much higher level, beyond anything you might even have considered possible.

These procedures are designed to give you complete mastery over your body's physical responses. Some can be difficult in the
beginning but practice makes them easier. For example, he shows you step-by-step how to channel sexual energy so that instead of
having a physical climax, you can spiral that very energy throughout your body, one location at a time. This has the effect of revitalizing all your organs, glands, and nerves in each location as the energy passes through it. Those familiar with the macrocosmic orbit will recognize the procedure. Once you develop this ability, you will be able to experience greater and more fulfilling physical climaxes that are not localized but involve your entire body. Ultimately it's designed to enable you and your partner to experience a complete physical and spiritual union as well as a union with God or the universe or the higher power or whatever you want to call it..

Since it can be difficult to do the steps he describes while holding the book in your hand and reading the instructions, I recommend taping yourself reading the instructions out loud at an un-hurried pace and then using the tape instead of the book to guide you through the exercises.

This is a challenging book but completely rewarding if you actually start putting the steps into practice. I had some resistance in the beginning to going and trying some of them. It was much easier to just keep reading. But when I pushed through and followed his instructions for a few things, I was really impressed and inspired by the way they made me feel. The first time I sat down and actually did the entire ovarian breathing process - and believe me, I did NOT do it perfectly - I felt an awakening in my body that was profound and inspiring.. I've been practicing raja, hatha, and swara yoga for a while, so I guess I was ready, but I feel that this book can benefit anyone with even the slightest inclination to try some of the methods he provides, and just a little bit of practice will go a long way.

This book isn't for everyone. It's not a bunch of intellectual exercises, but it does involve your mind as well as your body and your
spirit. It provides very practical physical steps that you can do by yourself, and later with your partner. If you think you're going
to simply read it and have it change your life, you could be disappointed. To get the most out of this book you will have to apply
yourself. But even if you simply read it, it can open your mind to what is possible. The rewards will probably be on a scale with
how much effort you put into it.

It says 'Mantak' is the author however I think his wife wrote or closely edited this book. The personality of this book is precious.

I think it is the best book they produced and it is one of the first written if not published a little later. If you are into martial arts, this information can be very meaningful to begin to comprise a rare and viable path. It can be easily misunderstood from western conventional thinking. It's like learning to unfathom the art to make good tea now that you appreciate good coffee. The formulas are within oneself, so it is a good usable guide to discover the language and thinking processes or mindset for developing one's own "Formulas". It briefly touches upon the deleterious karmic consequences of tantric yoga mal- practice, however that is a whole'nother'world and if you are truly seeking an alternative way, this book could be a catalyst to helping you to finding your destiny.. Who knows, with this knowledge base, you might win the first marathon that you ever run!

A spiritual view and method of sexual practice. As a woman who was raped in the past, I wanted to be able to look at sex from a different perspective other than someone's lust. This book doesn't deal with the subject of rape (one should visit a councilor for that), but rather reveals practices and methods for healing and rejuvenating the body through work with herself and also a loving sexual partner. A celibate woman may also benefit from these exercises. Breathing exercise and explicit diagrams are also used. This is esoteric knowledge which for centuries was secret in China. It's a wealth of fabulous knowledge and very helpful. There is a companion book for men as well. Oh, to find a partner trained in this method!
