About the Author
In addition to authoring over a dozen books, Ralph Woodrow has had the opportunity to speak for many Churches and groups of various denominations in over 40 years of ministry--including camp meetings, conventions and conferences. Through a unique set of circumstances he was put into the ministry at age 18. His ministry began in Canada, where he went as a pianist for an evangelist--but soon several Churches and groups opened their doors for Ralph to preach extended revival meetings. When he returned home after a few of months of ministry in Canada, God continued to open doors for him to preach the Gospel--holding revivals at many Churches and denominational rallies. As a single man of 21 he felt led to hold tent revivals and also to preach on the radio, with good results from both. From these early beginnings sprang an inter-denominational ministry, through which many effective doors of ministry open to this day.

In his early teens, he began to search the Scriptures--becoming intrigued to discover things in the Bible that he hadn't been taught. Similarly, he began to discover that some of the things he had been taught were not in the Bible. Ralph memorized hundreds of Scriptures as a teenager--his whole life revolved around studying God's Word and seeking God's will for his life. He preached his first sermon when he was 15 in their local Church. He spent much time at the Church, doing anything he could to serve the Lord--mowing the lawns, cleaning the Church, praying, and attending the meetings where he grew in the Spirit-filled life.

Throughout his ministry, in addition to preaching the Gospel at large, he has shared neglected biblical truths. AS AN AUTHOR, he is known for his scholarly research, along with his emphasis on the importance of love and unity. He emphasizes that if Christians disagree on some points of doctrine--they should disagree agreeably--knowing that all Christians agree on more than they disagree. Books he has authored total over a half million in print. Also, he has shared printed sermons with a select list--since 1961. Woodrow was born in San Jacinto, California and grew up in nearby Riverside. He and his wife, Arlene who is also a minister and writer, minister in various capacities locally in addition to periodically ministering throughout the U.S., and sometimes in Canada.

Great Book!

This book is both a fascinating and informative resource containing various rumors and pieces of misinformation as well as refutations of them and "the real story" behind the rumors. These rumors include such items as the so-called "Bible code," NASA scientists discovering a "missing day" corresponding with some biblical events, the supposed discovery of Noah's Ark, the supposedly "Satanic" Procter & Gamble logo, and many, many more.

The book contains numerous endnotes to support his research. It is a fascinating and enjoyable read. Many have probably heard of one or more of the many pieces of misinformation exposed in this book.

Fun and interesting

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. As an Evangelical Christian, raised in a Fundamentalist church, I recognized many of these stories I had heard and believed. It kept me laughing and showed me not to take things so seriously and enjoy my walk with the Lord. It was a fun and interesting read.

In looking at a great deal of prophecy oriented material, I found R. Woodrow a very knowledgeable and likable author and his discussion are very specific to a topic and not far ranging. His writing style is great to me. The info is short sweet and seems to be very accurate.

A founding work of environmental pragmatism

Despite the intervening years since its publication, Norton identifies fault lines in environmental thinking still prevalent in 2015.
Toward Unity Among Environmentalists is one of the most influential books by an environmental pragmatist, and it is arguably the best historical introduction available for undergraduate and graduate students seeking to understand the general contours of twentieth century environmental thought. Even where Norton's interpretations are controversial, subsequent debates have been extraordinarily fruitful - for example, see Norton's debates with J. Baird Callicott over the sense in which Leopold may be conceived as a pragmatist. Frustrated with the old monistic search for a single defensible worldview for thinking about the appropriate relationship between human beings and the rest of nature, Norton argues in this and later work that when almost all who take a problem seriously agree that the status quo is ethically unacceptable, yet disagree about why, we must prioritize a decision making process to agree upon actions and policies rather than insisting upon fundamental agreement about justifications.

This book was great!

This book sounded interesting just from the back cover. It sounded scary, and intense...just the way I like books to be. I know that R.L. Stine is a very good writer, and his books are really intense. I could easily picture what was happening in the story.
The Babysitter 3 really keeps my attention because you always want to know what is going to happen next. In the end, you expect it to end one way, but it ends another. It can be very twisted, but I like it.
I have read another one of R.L. Stine's books, and it was very good also. His books usually are about the same thing. Maybe not the same THEME or IDEA, but somehow they all connect. For example, in the Beach Party, somebody dies, and it kind of is weird at the end. And in The Babysitter 3 somebody dies, and it ends twisted.
Alot of books are probably like that, but i guess it's just the style, or way R.L. Stine writes. I enjoyed reading The Babysitter 3. And I highly recommend it if you love nail-baiting, and on the edge of your seat books.

I usually don't read horror books for the simple fact they are sometimes really scarey. I like this book though because it opens up a new door that the others don't. you should read this book because it can make you relize things you wouldn't normally.5*****.
