Susanna Booth is a journalist with over 10 years' experience on health and lifestyle titles. She has always had an interest in food and worked as a cookery columnist for the Guardian newspaper, creating recipes that are free from ingredients like gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts and soya. Susanna graduated from Leeds University with a degree in Polymer Chemistry, which has helped her to explore the chemistry within cooking itself. This experience helps her to adapt common recipes to suit gluten-free requirements.

Warmly recommend!

Gorgeous book! The introduction and background alone were worth buying it - so much information about sugar in your diet, especially when raising a family and trying to stay healthy but not be too strict with treats. There are lots of simple recipes (I'm not a wiz in the kitchen on any level), and I liked how the ingredients were straightforward and easy to find. Lots of whole grains, nuts, fruit and veggies. It's definitely inspired me to get baking!

Wonderful book - I love it!!

This is a fabulous book, full of great recipes and beautiful photos which make you desperate to get baking! My friends thought the strawberry parfait was amazing and they couldn't believe it didn't have any sugar added. The book is a good size and the font is easy to read. I will be buying a few more copies for Birthday presents etc.
